Best place to dive in Gili T! I got my Advanced Open Water course here and couldn't be happier. The instructors are super professional, great vibes, very patient, they really take their time to make you feel comfortable and confident.
This is the friendliest dive centre in the Gili islands. These guys were super fun, yet professional and I felt really safe on my dives. The shop's also so pretty and there's live music in the restaurant-bar downstairs.

We founded our dive school on Koh Tao in 2014, added Koh Lipe, and now we're bringing the same people-first diving to Gili Trawangan, Indonesia. Small groups, seasoned instructors, and a dive deck ten minutes from reefs that turtles call home. New island, same standards.
Around the three Gilis
West of Gili T — reef sharks, big green turtles, morays and the occasional ray. The classic.
A coral pinnacle off Gili Meno that lives up to its name — turtles on almost every descent.
Canyons and sloping reef from 5 to 30+ metres on Gili T's north side. Turtles, reef sharks and humphead parrotfish.
A wall that comes alive after dark — lobsters, hunting morays and sleeping parrotfish. Our favourite night dive.
Macro heaven: frogfish, leaf scorpionfish, mantis shrimp, seahorses and ribbon eels for the eagle-eyed.
South of Gili T — white-tip reef sharks, rays, cuttlefish and snapper schools as the light goes golden.

Good to know
A Try Dive is a four-hour introduction — a guided first dive, no certification. A course (like Open Water) is the real thing: a few days of training that ends with a worldwide licence. Not sure which is yours? Message us and we'll be honest with you.
Nearly — equipment, your instructor or guide, boat trips, snacks and dive insurance are all included. The only extra is the marine park fee of Rp 100.000 per diving day, which goes straight to the park.
Not automatically. You'll fill in the standard diving medical questionnaire before you start — only if you answer "yes" to a question do you need a doctor's sign-off. Unsure? Message us before you travel and we'll check for you.
For a Try Dive, no — there's no swim test, and your instructor stays right beside you in calm, shallow water. For the Open Water certification you'll need to manage a 200 m swim and 10 minutes of floating.
Completely normal — most first-timers are. We teach in small groups, start in calm, shallow water where you can simply stand up, and move at your pace. Nobody gets rushed.
We teach in English and Spanish, and your digital training materials are available in many more languages.
Yes — diving starts at age 10, for both Try Dives and the Open Water (with junior programmes for ages 10-14; from 15 you take the full course). There's no upper age limit as long as you're in good health.
