We run the Instructor Development Program right here in Gili Trawangan, so there's no need to travel to another island — you'll train, teach and take your exam where you'll actually be diving. Get in touch and we'll sort out the details.
Prerequisites for this course: you need to be Divemaster certified to enrol, and you must hold Deep and Nitrox specialty certifications.

Book your spotOur 12-metre dive boat is spacious, comfortable, and fully equipped with all the necessary safety equipment to make every dive as safe as possible. It offers a smooth ride, space to gear up with ease, and a chill area to relax between dives. With the Gilis' sites just 10–20 minutes away, it makes your training days smoother, more social, and a lot more enjoyable.

You must be a certified Divemaster with 100 logged hours underwater (or 200 dives), and current First Aid and Oxygen certifications. You need to hold Deep and Nitrox specialty certifications. (We can provide this training if you need it.)
This training course is 14 days, with a 2 day exam upon completion.
There are no extra costs to be paid. Unlike other dive agencies, RAID include all fees in the cost of the program. You also have no yearly renewal fees as long as you certify 5 students per year.
Good instructors are in demand across Indonesia and Thailand — and with three La Bombona Diving locations, we know where the jobs are.
